Women in the Wood River Valley signal that they are ready to take up signs and march again, it having been a few years since the last Women’s March in Ketchum.

Women—and men—are invited to take part in the Wood River Valley is Marching Forward march from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, beginning and ending at Ketchum Town Square.

The march is one of dozens of marches planned across the country. It is set to coincide with the mother march in Washington, D.C., where women are mobilizing to cheer on women’s rights, freedoms and futures.

The Women’s March is leading the charge to build a multi-facial democracy that serves all, while fighting for what matters to women and communities, organizers say. The last Women’s March on Washington was held in January 2020.
