Wood River Valley residents are invited to help send District 26 Sen. Ron Taylor off to the Idaho Legislature.

The Blaine County Democrats are hosting an evening of connection and conversation with Taylor from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, at Hailey Town Center West, 116 S. River St.

There’ll be an opportunity to mingle with community members and local leaders. Additionally, Taylor will offer a brief presentation about the key issues facing Idaho and the legislation he anticipates will be introduced. He also will field questions and hear concerns.

This is Taylor’s second term as state senator. A retired Hailey firefighter, he assumed the seat that had been held for years by Clint and Michelle Stennett.

The 2025 legislative session beings on Monday, Jan. 6, and is expected to last about 90 days.

Blaine, Lincoln and Jerome County chairs will provide light refreshments and attendees are invited to take part in a Legislative District 26 Silent Auction.
