The Nicole Christensen Band, a longtime valley favorite from Eagle, will perform at the free Jazz in the Park series Sunday, July 20.
Vocalist Nicole, her partner Ben Burdick on guitar and their band, will perform from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ketchum’s Rotary Park, Warm Springs and Saddle roads.
Concertgoers are invited to bring low back chairs and picnics.
Christensen performs jazz standards in a warm alto voice. She got her start as a singer in high school singing in a choir. As people heard her, they began inviting her to perform at weddings and other special events.
In addition to singing, she dabbles in acrylic and watercolor paintings, sharing her talent at a music and art camp for children in Cascade.
