The 2025 Sun Valley Film Festival passes are now on sale.

This year’s festival will be held at a new time—Dec. 3-7—rather than its former spring slot.

The change will offer the Sun Valley Film Festival to have an impact on the Academy Awards, organizers say. And it will offer Sun Valley an event during a slower time of year.

Depending on the weather, it could offer attendees some good early season skiing at discounted rates, as well.

This year’s passes come in four levels:

The PATRON PASS, which costs $3,250, is for supporters who want admittance to the Argyros Theater through a special entrance, films, a sit-down dinner at The Roundhouse celebrating Vision Honorees, the Opening Celebration and Bloody Mary Wrap Party, an exclusive screening of a new film, unlimited access to Festival Headquarters, including private receptions, entrance to SVFF parties, commemorative merchandise  and admittance to monthly movies and other programming. It also includes a tax-deductible donation of $1,650.

The INSIDER PASS, which costs $1,020 to $1,200, includes such special events as the Opening Celebration, Bloody Mary Wrap Party SVFF Parties, Festival HQ access, films and commemorative merchandise.

The FESTIVAL PASS costs $540 to $600 and includes films, Festival Headquarters Access where free drinks and hors d’oeuvres are served and entrance to SVFF parties.

The FILM PASS costs $180 to $200 and includes access to Festival films and coffee talks, as well as priority entry to theaters before ticket holders and the general public.

STUDENT PASSES, which cost $75, include admission to five Festival films and prioritized access to Coffee Talks and some special events.
