It doesn’t appear that there’s any threat of that happening here. The Sun Valley area has been experiencing some plenty of evening temperatures in the mid-40s, with the forecast for lows of 33 degrees beginning Sunday.

And this week has been surprisingly rainy, compared with falls of the past 20 years. Fall colors are at their peak in Adams Gulch and Greenhorn right now. And folks are raving about the colors north of Ketchum. So, get out and enjoy because Sun Valley Resort already has “Pray for Snow” posters plastered around The Village.

The Greenhorn Trail and the beaver ponds in Greenhorn Gulch seem to have hogged Mother Nature’s yellow crayons.
