Grupo Tremendo will bring the music and talented dancers will share folklorico dances at Saturday’s Cinco de Mayo Celebration in Hailey.
St. Charles Borromeo Church in Hailey is putting on a celebration for the entire community beginning at 11 a.m. and extending throughout the afternoon at St. Charles’ parish hall at 311 First Avenue between Walnut and Pine streets in Hailey.
Attendees can look forward to:
Live music from Grupo Tremendo, bringing high-energy performances perfect for dancing
Traditional folk dance performances, featuring talented dancers who have been preparing for weeks
Authentic Mexican cuisine, including tacos, tortas, quesadillas, and more
Raffle prizes, including exciting items such as a bicycle, a television and passes to Roaring Springs Water Park in Boise
Games and activities for families and children
“This celebration is all about bringing people together to enjoy culture, community and fun,” said Lupe, one of the event organizers. “It’s a great opportunity to learn more about Cinco de Mayo, enjoy amazing food and music and spend the day with family and friends.”
Proceeds will help find youth programs at St. Charles Borromeo.
