Got a nifty chili recipe?

Put it out there for bragging rights during the 6th annual Fire Fighter’s 5 Alarm Chili Cook-Off.

The Cook-Off will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30 at Friedman Memorial Airport.

And it will be held in conjunction with Meet the Fleet—an opportunity for adults and children to get up-close personal looks at fire engines, police cars, bulldozers, snowplows, airplanes and more.

The event is a fundraiser for the Hailey Fire Department. There will be a variety of categories for chili, including General Public, Best Nonprofit and Public Safety.

There’s no entry fee but each entry will receive a special 5 Alarm Chili Cook-off swag pack.

The Kiwanis Club will provide food and drinks with proceeds benefitting local charity. And while there  you can enter for a chance to win an introductory flight lesson.
