A GoFundMe account has been set up to assist a Ketchum postal worker and her three roommates who lost everything they owned in a mobile home fire Saturday.

Elizabeth Patino, who works at the Hailey Post Office, and her roommates were able to escape the fire when it broke out the afternoon of Saturday, Jan. 18, on Main Street in Bellevue. Firefighters attributed the fire to a space heater that may have become overheated.

Tammy Davis, director of the Crisis Hotline and co-director of Neighbors Helping Neighbors, noted that a variety of organizations are pulling together to help the family, including the Blaine County Charitable Fund.

“We understand that experiencing such a loss can be overwhelming,” she said. “That's why we are working together to provide immediate assistance and help them rebuild their lives. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in the lives of this family.”

The GoFundMe account is at https://www.gofundme.com/f/hailey-neighbors-need-your-help.
