Join together on Memorial Day to honor more than 445 veterans from Blaine County who rest at the Hailey Cemetery.

The 24th Annual Hailey Memorial Day Ceremony will start at 11 a.m. Monday, May 26, at the Hailey Cemetery. Local choir members will offer a medley of songs to honor the military.

The Hailey Cemetery Maintenance Board of Directors will hold an Open House with refreshments following the ceremony.

The Hailey Cemetery will be decorated from dusk on Friday, May 23, to dusk Monday, May 26, with American flags and a carnation placed on the gravesite of every known veteras.

“While we can never fully repay our debt to America's fallen warriors and their families, we can remember their service and honor their sacrifice,” said Geegee Lowe, who organizes the annual event.
