STORY AND PHOTO BY KAREN BOSSICK

Learn about a proposal to form a new library district and learn about the school levy that will be on the November ballot—and have your fill of pie, too!

The Blaine County Democrats are hosting a Pie and Perspectives Fall Social from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, at the Hailey Grange, 609 S. 3rd Avenue in Hailey.

Representatives of the Hailey and Bellevue libraries will talk about their push to get a library district proposal on the May 2026 ballot. And a representative from Blaine County School District will answer questions about the school levy on the upcoming November ballot.

Like to get your hands into dough? Organizers will be happy to accept donations of pies for the event. Those who donate a pie will be entered into a special prize drawing.
