Summer may be on the wane. But some folks aren’t going to let it get off that easy.
Emmanuel Episcopal Church has organized a street dance in Hailey on Sunday evening.
The Community Dance and Street Party will be held from 5 to 9:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 27, on Second Avenue between Bullion and Croy streets in Hailey.
Strings Attached will provide the music with square/contra dance caller David Quinley. Dancers should bring a dish to share to the Emmanuel Episcopal Church at the corner of Second Avenue and Bullion streets, along with lawn chairs. Lemonade and tea will be provided.
Cost is $10 per person or $15 per couple, household or family.
The event, open to the public, is intended to be the first annual. For information, call 208-788-3547.
