Enjoy some cowboy coffee and learn about the roles cowboys play in Idaho’s iconic rangelands on Saturday, Sept. 16, when the Rock Creek Ranch invites folks to take part in “Cowboy Days on the Range.”
The free event, suitable for the entire family, will take place from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Rock Creek Ranch Barn on the ranch west of Hailey in Croy Canyon.
The event is the final installment of this summer’s Sagebrush Saturday series at the 10,400-acre working ranch and educational facility 11 miles west of downtown Hailey out Croy Creek Road.
Those who attend will also get the chance to learn about the cattle management research being done at the ranch.
The Sagebrush Series is sponsored by the Wood River Land Trust, The Nature Conservancy and the University of Idaho’s Rangeland Center.
Closed-toe shoes, long pants and hats are recommended.
