We’ve all been told of the little things we can do to stop climate change--things like using LED lights and running our washing machines only when we have a full load.
You can learn how you can be part of a bigger strategy to stop climate change Sunday and Monday, Jan. 7-8.
Rainforest Action Network (RAN) is hosting two free events focusing on how you and your investing can be part of a bigger strategy to stop climate change.
The first, from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, will be held at the Community School in Sun Valley. It will look at real campaigns and real solutions utilizing finance.
Patrick McCully, climate and energy director for Rainforest Action Network, and Aimee Christensen, CEO of Christensen Global Strategies and executive director of Sun Valley Institute for Resilience, will lead a discussion with local panelists on the critical role each person plays in the fight.
The second, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Jan. 8, at The Sun Valley Institute, will look at how individuals can build a finance strategy to fight climate change. This will be an action workshop.
Reservations are required as space is limited at RAN.org/sunvalley.
