Six thousand Easter eggs.
That’s how many the Easter Bunny plans to hide in Sun Valley’s annual Easter Egg Hunt.
The hunt will start at 5 p.m. sharp on Friday, March 30, in Sun Valley Village. And, after the Easter Bunny catches his breath, he will make himself available for photos beginning at 5:15 p.m. Hunters are asked to bring their own baskets.
While the hunt starts at 5 p.m., the fun begins at 4 p.m. with the Kids’ Train running through the village, live music on the Sun Valley Inn patio, family ice skating from 5 to 7 p.m. and glitter tattoos being offered at the Toy Store.
The Easter Weekend will also include an eggs-travagant Easter Brunch Buffet at the Sun Valley Club from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, April 1.
The buffet, a throwback to the scrumptious Sunday morning buffets at the Sun Valley Lodge, will include Eggs Benedict, Brioche French Toast, lox and bagels, a full-service omelet station and carving stations.
Cost is $42 for adults and $19 for youngsters 12 and under. For more details, call 208-622-2919.
Over in Ketchum, Perry's Restaurant will also have an Easter Sunday Brunch featuring Fresh Strawberry Brandy French Toast, Granny Smith Apple Cinnamon Crepes and Salmon and Asparagus Benedict, with prices starting at $6.75.
