The Stanley Museum has opened for the summer.
The museum will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Monday, May 27-28, as well as Saturday and Sunday June 2 and 3.
It will be open every day from June 9 through Sept. 3 and then be open weeks for the remainder of the month until Sunday, Sept. 30.
The museum is gathering area oral histories and preparing for structural upgrades and a new building. Those wishing to contribute to “Your Pathway to Sawtooth Valley History,” will be honored with a name or the name of a loved one or inspiring words inscribed on a commemorative brick in the museum walkways.
The summer will also include several lectures and events, including History Days, a telescope drawing and a Scones and Scenery gatherings, said SIHA President Gary Gadwa.
The Redfish Visitor Center and Gallery will open on Friday, June 8, and will remain open until Sunday, Sept. 16, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
