Celebrate summer’s start with a Summer Solstice Soiree.
The City of Ketchum is celebrating the longest day of the year from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, June 21, with a party at Ketchum Town Square.
Portland musician Nate Botsford and his band will play a pair of 90-minute neo-folk sets. And there will be a balloon clown, face painters, jugglers, magicians and art activities for kids.
Food and beverage vendors will also be on hand. And, while it’s the shortest night of the year, celebrants will be invited to toast June as Dark Sky Month, given the city’s status as a Dark Sky community and part of the nation’s first Dark Sky Reserve.
