Duck out of the snow and into Innovation Day.
The Sun Valley Community School will throw its fourth Innovation Day Jr. from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, at the school campus off Dollar Road in Sun Valley.
The event is a free opportunity for children ages 5 through 8 to create, innovate and engage. Children need not attend the Sun Valley Community School to take part.
School faculty members will host a variety of fun STREAM-focused projects, including designing a marble maze. Other activities including making play snow and a melting snowman; building sculptures out of tinfoil and blocks; building a monster kinetic sculpture puppet and creating out of tape, paint and oil pastel.
