Silvercreek Living in Hailey is now offering a Memory Care Café.
The outreach will be offered at 1 p.m. every Wednesday for caregivers to get a break.
Any caregiver is invited to come with the loved ones they are caring for. The loved ones will be cared for while the caregivers can sit back, relax and enjoy coffee with other caregivers.
The Memory Care Café is held in Silvercreek’s Memory Care Residential Building where residents are cared for in complete safety, thanks to a building built to be safe with all the amenities.
Silvercreek makes strides to support caretakers of those suffering from memory loss and inaugurates memory care building.
Owner Anita Northwood said the goal of Silver Creek Living is to provide support for caretakers who can be overwhelmed by caring for loved ones affected by memory loss.
Caretakers need to take care of themselves, she added.
Northwood said Silvercreek goes out of its way to make every day life for its residents stimulating through a constant flow of activity programs and socialization organized by Activity Director Yvette Cabrito.
“Our goal is to build awareness around all the resources available to ensure that family members receive the best possible care without sacrificing the health of their family members and loved ones,” added Reagan McLaughlin, administrator and executive director at Silvercreek.
