Take advantage of the balmy November days we’ve been enjoying and find your way to the Sun Valley Community School’s annual Orienteering meet today.
The school’s Wilderness Navigation class will hold a fun, educational event for those of all ages and skills at 10 a.m. today—Sunday, Nov. 10—at the Greenhorn trailhead south of Ketchum.
There will be a beginner course and an advanced course. Participants may tackle the course individually or as a team.
The goal to find certain points on a map in a set amount of time using only a map and compass.
There is a suggested donation of $5 per person with the proceeds donated to Higher Ground. Registration will be held from 9:15 to 9:45 a.m.
Children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult.
