Sarah Feltman placed in all three of her events at Saturday’s District IV Drama Tournament held at Wood River high School. That makes her a triple state qualifier as she heads off to compete in two acting contests and one technical/props contest at state competition.
The Wood River High School Drama team will send 14 students to compete in 10 out of 20 events at state competition in the new Thunder Ridge High School in Idaho Falls on Dec. 6 and 7.
The 14 students were among 20 Wood River High School students who took part in Saturday’s tournament. They placed in half of the events the Wolverines entered.
They got four third-place district finishes and a second. Feltman’s triple state qualification was a first for the school, said Karl Nordstrom, the WRHS Drama and speech coach.
