Headed to the polls to vote in today’s Idaho Presidential Primary?

  • Remember: North Blaine County residents will no longer vote at Hemingway STEAM School. North Valley voters in Precinct 1 will instead vote at the Wood River YMCA.
  • Ketchum residents in Precincts 3 and 4—North Ketchum and South Ketchum--will vote at the Community Library, and Sun Valley residents in Precinct 2 will vote at Sun Valley City Hall.
  • Hailey voters in Precincts 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11—will vote at the Community Campus.
  • Bellevue voters in Precincts 12 and 13 will vote at Bellevue Elementary School
  • Carey voters in Precinct 14 will vote at Carey City Hall. And Gannett/Picabo residents in Precinct 15 will vote at the Silver Creek Convenience Store in Picabo.

Voting takes place between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Voters must show valid photo ID, including an Idaho driver’s license, a Concealed Weapons license, a U.S. passport or Federal Photo ID or a current student photo ID.

Those voting in the Republican presidential primary will have six choices, including Donald J. Trump. Voters in the Republican primary must be registered Republicans.

Those voting Democrat will see 17 names on the ballot, although Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders are considered the only viable candidates remaining on the ballot.

This is the first year Idaho Democrats will get to vote in a state-run primary, rather than registering their preference by caucusing. The primary is open to registered Democrats and unaffiliated voters.
