The Ketchum Fire Department will uncouple the fire hoses—firefighters’ version of a ribbon cutting—at 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 4.
The ceremony will take place outside the new shiny fire station with the bright red doors just north of the Wood River YMCA on Saddle Street.
The public is invited to the event. Tours of the facility will be scheduled later to meet with COVID protocols.
“The station’s opening marks the end of the long process of searching for a new home for our first responders and the beginning of a new service level to our residents and visitors,” said Ketchum Mayor Neil Bradshaw.
