The Saint Alphonsus Ski & Trauma Conference was groundbreaking when Dr. Richard Moore started it 14 years ago following a young friend’s accident of a young friend on Bald Mountain. And every year it draws first responders from as far away as Florida to learn how to improve the likelihood of survival outside the ER.
