Seattle seafood expert Cynthia Nims will share complimentary appetizers while discussing her latest book “Essential Shellfish” during a free Open House from 4 to 6 p.m. tonight—Thursday, Feb. 19—at the Sun Valley Culinary Institute in Ketchum.
Nims’ last three cookbooks, “Oysters, Crab and Shellfish,” have been released as a special box set titled “The Essential Shellfish Collection.”
Nims will discuss how she researched and created recipes during the Open House.
