Anthony Bourdain was 19 when he got a job as a dishwasher in Provincetown, Mass., in 1975. It was a summer that would shape the course of his life as he caught the cooking bug under a Brazilian restaurateur.
He would go on to spend three more summers there, graduating to line cook. and eventually dropping out of college to go to the Culinary Institute of America
Now, the movie “Tony” provides a coming-of-age look at the young man who would go on to become a celebrated chef, author and TV personality with a bad boy chef reputation.
Sun Valley audiences will have the opportunity to see the movie, written by screenwriters Todd Bartels and Lou Howe, as part of the Sun Valley Film Festival’s Monthly Movie Series.
