Need to trim that summer shag? Spring for a haircut on Sunday and benefit students at The Space.

Tresses Hair Studio is offering free haircuts for a donation from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16. The studio at 6 W. Carbonate St. in Hailey will offer haircuts on a first come, first served basis in exchange for donations of any amount to benefit The Space afterschool program and teen hub.

Donations can be made via cash or Venmo.

"I wanted to support The Space with free haircuts because I love the work they do," said Tressa Prichard, owner of Tresses Hair Studio.

The Space offers personalized tutoring and innovative afterschool and summer programming to empower teens in school and life. It relies on community partnerships like the one with Tresse Hair Studio to fund its programming, which serve teens across the Wood River Valley free of charge.
