The Advocates served 215 adults during February—30 of them new clients. It sheltered 11 people and fielded 1,155 calls for services.
The Advocates’ Executive Director Tricia Swartling will also speak at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, at Spur Community Foundation’s Roundtable Series. This segment—the third in the series—will focus on nonprofits addressing human services.

SPRING CLEARANCE
The Attic, which supports The Advocates, is getting ready to swap out its winter items for spring and summer clothing and shoes. As a result, the thrift store is offering a $5 Clothes and Shoes Bag Sale on April 1-3. It will be closed April 5-6 and celebrate its Spring Opening at 10 a.m. April 7.
