In their final regular season home game on Tuesday, the Community School Cutthroats downed a determined Gooding Senators squad unanimously by a score of 4-0.
The Cutthroats kept the pressure on the Senators in the first half, peppering the opposing goalkeeper with shots and goal and scoring three times in the opening stanza.
The Cutthroats continued to control the ball and the field in the second half, keeping the visiting Senators off the scoreboard and tallying one more goal.
Coach Richard Whitelaw was thrilled with the team’s performance, describing the game as “clean and well played.”
Community School goalie, Meeks Sanchez Dupont was flawless in his second game back following surgery, turning back all of the Senators scoring attempts.
Next up for the Cutthroats is a road match with Filer on Thursday at 4:30 pm.
