The enrollment period for St. Luke’s new health insurance plan will close on Thursday, Dec. 15.
St. Luke’s Health Plan includes access to one of the largest provider networks in the state, zero-dollar co-pays for in-network primary care, preventive care, routine maternity care and outpatient behavioral health care. There are no pre-authorization requirements for most services when you see a doctor in-network.
Members enrolled with St. Luke’s Health Plan will also have access to broad pharmacy benefits including the St. Luke’s specialty pharmacy and prescription delivery services.
The provider network is not limited to only St. Luke’s doctors and facilities. More than two-thirds of the network is made up of independent practitioners that span the coverage area.
“We are excited to bring a new health insurance plan to our members, one that we believe will remove common barriers that many people experience with health insurance,” said Matt Wolff, president of St. Luke’s Health Plan. “We want to encourage people who haven’t yet selected their 2023 health plan to use the state insurance exchange website to shop and compare plans as we quickly approach Dec. 15.”
Those currently enrolled through the state insurance exchange will be automatically renewed in their current plan for the 2023 coverage year unless they choose a new plan.
“Health insurance plans change every year and so do the needs of consumers and their families, so we recommend giving some time to make sure your plan is meeting your needs,” said Wolff.
St. Luke’s Health Plan is available for individuals, families and businesses in 20 southwest Idaho counties including Ada, Adams, Blaine, Boise, Camas, Canyon, Cassia, Custer, Elmore, Gem, Gooding, Jerome, Lemhi, Lincoln, Minidoka, Owyhee, Payette, Twin Falls, Valley and Washington.
St. Luke’s Health Plan benefits will begin on Jan. 1, 2023, for those who enroll now.
