Learn chef’s secrets that you can use in your own kitchen when Chef Joyce Doughty offers a free presentation on Thursday at The Community Library.
Doughty, who used to own Doughty’s Bistro in downtown Boise, will share culinary techniques and principles, including how to create dishes based on ingredients you have on hand.
All attendees will receive a complimentary copy of her recently published books “The Chef Within” and “Breakfast and Dinner Editions.”

Doughty attended the Cordon Bleu cooking school and got an associate degree in Culinary Arts at Boise State University. She hosted the daily nationally syndicated program “Food for Thought” with Boise State Public Radio and has received recognition awards from the James Beard Foundation.
