A limited number of $60 Ski for Air Service Day lift tickets are being sold at ski and snowboard shops in Ketchum and Hailey.
The lift tickets are good for skiing at Sun Valley Resort on Sunday, Jan. 22. (The resort opened the Elkhorn lift and terrain on Dollar Mountain this weekend, meaning that every inch of terrain on Dollar and Baldy mountains is open.
The proceeds from the lift tickets will support Sun Valley air service.
This is the first time in three years that discounted tickets have been offered—they were discontinued for two years during the pandemic.
Tickets are available for cash or credit card at all four Sturtevant’s in Ketchum and Hailey. They’re also available at the Board Bin and PKs Ski & Sports in Ketchum. Board Bin and PK’s will take phone sales with credit card.
There is no limit to the number of tickets an individual may purchase. No $60 tickets will be sold on Jan. 22.
Participating ski shops will offer half-priced demos and rentals on Jan. 22. Several Sun Valley-area lodging properties will also have discounted deals. Proof of purchase of Ski for Air Service Day lift tickets must be provided to secure the ski-board rental and lodging deals.
