Tickets are now on sale for the eighth annual Sun Valley Forum, which will take place June 20-23 in Ketchum.
The forum convenes global leaders to accelerate climate solutions via everything from food to shifting investment capital.
This year’s speakers will include David Banks, chief conservation officer of The Nature Conservancy; youth climate litigant Vic Barrett; Elysabeth Alfano, founder of Plant Powered Consulting and host of the Plant-based Business Hour; Jeff Goodell, contributing editor for Rolling Stone Magazine and author of such books as “Big Coal,” “How to Cool Our Planet” and “The Water Will Come: Rising Seas, Sinking Cities and the Remaking of the Civilized World;” Lisa Friedman, climate reporter for the New York Times, and Henk Rogers, founder of Blue Planet Alliance and Blue Planet Energy.
The conference includes three dinners, including an outdoor barbecue at Galena Lodge, and three lunches. There also will be opportunities to hike and bike with participants and raft on the Salmon River. This year’s Forum will also have targeted Multiplier Effect workshops
Collaborations established during past forums have led to some major business models throughout the country. The forum was founded by Aimee Christensen of Christensen Global.
