Sun Valley Resort is gearing up for a sunny summer after an extra special snowy winter this Memorial Day Weekend.
Everything is opening up, from the Tennis & Pickleball Center to the Gun Club and Olympic Pool.
The back nine at Trail Creek will open Saturday, May 27, joining the White Clouds course, the back nine of Elkhorn and the Sawtooth Putting Course.
The Ram, which has been serving up pork tenderloin schnitzel and Hungarian goulash since 1937, reopens tonight. And Brass Ranch River Run reopens today with a Tent Sale offering up to half price bargains on ski, sportswear, boots and skis.
The Roundhouse Express gondola is scheduled to crank up on June 23 for foot traffic and lunch at the historic Roundhouse Restaurant. Lift-accessed biking on Sun Valley’s flow trails will follow on July 1.
Wood River Valley residents are invited to take part in the Bald Mountain Clean-Up the week before from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 25.
Yoga at River Run will resume its free hour-long classes on the River Run Plaza at 9 a.m. Tuesdays and Saturdays beginning June 27.
And Sun Valley Resort will hold its Summer Kick-Off Party at River Run Plaza from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 2, with music and games.
Meanwhile, workers are putting the final touches on the new cooling system and infrastructure at its ice rinks. Sun Valley’s Ice Shows will kick off on July 3 with Olympian Mariah Bell.

Skiers have just a few more days to purchase their 2023-2 Sun Valley Season Pass at its lowest price. Pass prices will go up on June 1.
