Wednesday, the Bob Shay Awards were held at the Community Campus to honor athletics and students involved in the arts--activities sanctioned by the Idaho High School Athletic Association. Awards were received as follows:

Lizzie Lipman was awarded a Three-Sport Varsity Letter and was awarded Most Inspirational for both Track and Cross-Country. She received the Alan Patterson Memorial Award.

Kacie Flolo, another Three-Sport Varsity Letter Winner, was awarded Cross-Country’s Rose Bergin Award. She also received the Most Inspirational Award in Basketball. Toward the end of the night, she received the Outstanding Senior Athlete Award.

Grant Green also received a Three-Sport Varsity Letter for Cross-Country, Wrestling, and Track. He received awards in the former two, including the Monte Brothwell Unsung Hero Award for Cross-Country and the Most Inspirational Award for Wrestling.

Emmett Stouffer, a junior, was awarded the Most Inspirational Award for Cross-Country. He also won a Three-Sport Varsity Letter with the addition of Wrestling, and Track. Stouffer also excelled on the Swimming team, which isn’t sanctioned by Idaho High School Athletic Association to constitute a Four-Sport Varsity Letter.
