The Sun Valley Suns 18U hockey team will serve as the grand marshals when the 140th Days of the Old West Fourth of July Parade rolls through Hailey on Tuesday, July 4.

The team became the first high school team from Idaho to win a national championship, won a national championship in this winter, beating out teams from Georgia, Montana, Delaware, Oregon and Wyoming.

The day, as always, will be packed with activities starting with a Quilt Show and ending with fireworks. In between is a concert by Marcus King and Tylor & the Train Robbers and a hot wheels car show. The lineup:

10 a.m.-4 p.m. 5 Bee Quilters Guild will hold a Quilt Show and Sale at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 101 S. 2nd Ave. in Hailey.

Noon—Hailey’s Days of the Old West Parade will roll down Main Street, starting at the town’s north end.

Noon-4 p.m. Live music will be offered in Sun Valley Village. Free wagon rides will be offered all day  in the village, along with lawn games, bouncy houses and an outdoor bar.

1-4 p.m. A free Community Party put on by The Life Church, 931 N. River St., will include a bouncy house, water slides, dunk tank, pie eating contest, food trucks, games and races.

1-5 p.m.—The annual RiverFest organized by Sawtooth Brewery will include live music, hot rods, bouncy houses and food trucks at Hop Porter Park. The Sheep Bridge Jumpers will perform their Americana music at 1 p.m. Kumbia MX will perform at 2:30 p.m.

2-5 p.m. The Hailey Hot Wheels Car Show, sponsored by Neighbors Helping Neighbors, will take place at the Hop Porter Park in Hailey.

5 p.m. Cornhole, ping pong and Boss Toss games will be offered free of charge at The Mint, 116 S. Main St., Hailey.

7:30 p.m. Sawtooth Rangers Days of the Old West Rodeo will feature bull riding, team roping, bareback riding, barrel racing and more at the Hailey Rodeo Grounds. Tickets are $12 for adults and $7 for those 12 and under, available at Atkinsons’ Markets in Hailey, Bellevue and Ketchum and at the Hailey Welcome Center. Pre-rodeo events start at 6 p.m.

6:30 p.m. Marcus King, who received a Grammy nomination for his 2020 album “El Dorado,” will perform his southern-flavored music along with Boise band Tylor & the Train Robbers at the Sun Valley Pavilion. Sun Valley Resort will shoot off fireworks immediately after the concert. 1015 p.m. Fireworks will be shot off near Wood River High School in Hailey.

10 p.m. Fireworks show will be staged by Sun Valley Resort.
