“Epoxy Resin Nightmare.”
It’s a pop-up production written by an original member of The Spot Young Company and produced with help of other Spot Young Company alumni.
The 60-minute performance will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, Aug. 17-19 and at 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 20, at The Spot Studio, 220 Lewis St. in Ketchum.
It will star Spot Young Company Alumni Chloe Khosrowshahi, Annabelle Lewis and Coco Vorm.
Annabel Webster, who grew up in the Wood River Valley and is now is based in New York City, wrote the play about girlhood and generational curses in the gothic deserts of Southern Idaho. It features a mother and daughter who share time, space and God, while connecting through themes of sexuality, bodily preservation ad big stinkin’ white lilies.
Webster’s first play asks you to wish for a savior but believe in the carnage of women everlasting.
The play, is part of the Spot Studio Series. The $10 tickets will help support the 2023 Spot Young Company show “Alice by Heart,” which will run in December 2023.
It’s directed by Annabel Webster, Kagen Albright and Wyatt Root. Julia Ott is serving as Movement Coordinator; Wyatt Root, stage manager, and Elena Vorm, production assistant. Production support is being provided by Rose Bicas-Dolgen and Brady Giles.
