Learn about three small-scale climate solutions that could be implemented in the Wood River Valley in the next nine months when the Climate Action Coalition presents one of its “Conversations on Climate Solutions.”
The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23, at Hailey Town Center West.
The three ideas will focus on:
- Electrification
- Water Conservation
- Single-Use Plastic Reduction.
Members of three groups who have been working on these ideas will describe what can be done and how these actions could spur larger change well beyond each project’s direct impact.
The Climate Action Coalition has been a small but mighty organization, spurring local governments to commit to measures designed to mitigate what the United Nations is calling “global boiling.” To learn more, visit www.cacwrv.org.
