The BCRD’s FitWorks is offering the community a Free Week to try out its upgraded facilities and expanded class roster.
The Blaine County Recreation District will offer people a chance to try out its equipment and classes free of charge Sept. 18-24.
FitWorks, located at the Community Campus in Hailey, recently installed a fitness rig and new flooring to transform its class studio into a HIIT hub. It features more room, more innovative equipment and more engaging classes.
FitWorks is open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends beginning Sept. 9.
Classes include:
CIRCUIT STRENGTH: Pain-free exercises.
• FELDENKRAIS & AWARENESS THROUGH MOVEMENT™: Structured movements for better body comprehension.
• H.I.I.T: High-Intensity Interval Training.
• PILATES: Controlled motion for a strong core.
• SENIOR STRENGTH: Tailored resistance exercises for the active 50+ community.
• YOGA Series: Including Slow Flow Yoga, Yoga & The Breath, and Yoga Sculpt.
• BARRE: A ballet-infused fitness regimen.
• SPIN: Using stationary bicycles to pedal through fitness milestones.
BCRD also offers CSI Over 60 & Fit.
FitWorks memberships start at $25/month and special rates are available for students and seniors. Fitness classes are included with a FitWorks Plus membership. Day passes for those without memberships cost $5 for adults to use the gym or $8 to attend a class. They cast $4 for the gym and $8 for a class for seniors and students.
