Learn a fun, jazzy, 1920s-themed when the choreographer for the musical “Chicago” teaches a dance class at The Mint in Hailey.
L.A.-based choreographer and dance instructor Sami Bass will teach a “Chicago”-inspired dance routine for students of all levels from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, at The Mint.
Bass has been spending time in the Wood River Valley choreographing dance routines for The Liberty Theatre Company’s “Chicago,” which opens tonight and runs through Oct. 28 at The Mint. She has worked with professional dancers and those who have never danced before.
She worked with “Chicago” director Naomi McDougall Jones on the vampirish movie “Bite Me.” She also created the “Disrupting the Silence” series and “Posthumous.”
