Kvell (pronounced kuh-vell) Fitness is a boutique gym based in Boise. And it’s coming to Hailey on Monday, Oct. 16.
Kvell’s program is specifically designed according to science is for people who want to live an active, healthy life. They offer coach-led fitness training and nutrition coaching.
Part of the mission is to increase mobility, flexibility, strength, and athleticism, reducing risk of injury and improving body composition. The other part is to make members look forward to working out with their friends.
Brett Denton, a Hailey local and the founder of Kvell, has a learned passion for providing a positive fitness experience. His mission of positivity didn't originate from a lifelong dream but was born of the ashes of the desire to be a professional football player.
Despite Denton’s relentless physical and mental efforts, Denton faced failures and realized he needed a profound change.
Complacency and self-deception led to his failure in wrestling, his role as a backup running back and an unfulfilling job that left him in debt and feeling empty. However, a pivotal moment came when Brett decided to take control, rediscovering his love for sports, fitness, and health.
This journey led him to start fitness boot camps, initially offering free training in a tiny room, and gradually, he witnessed the power of fitness to transform lives. As Denton’s fitness program grew and evolved through multiple name changes, Kvell was born. Members are encouraged to “Own It” as is the title of Denton’s book published in 2021.
Kvell offers a fitness plan, including body transformation, mobility, and flexibility. Coaching includes 21 days of unlimited group metabolic strength training, a 21-day wellness and fitness and fundamentals program, and a fitness and mobility assessment.
Since its conception, Kvell has been voted Boise’s best personal training and fitness studio for the past five years and is the highest, most-reviewed gym in Boise. They donate a portion of their profits each month to local charities.
The building is at 409 North Main Street in Hailey, just south of Wiseguy Pizza Pie. Forty-five-minute sessions will be offered at various times between 5 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. on weekdays.
