The Wood River Museum is exhibiting a Wall of Honor during the month of November to recognize U.S. veterans. And they need your help.
The public is being asked to fill out a form about a veteran in their lives—themselves, a family member, a friend or a neighbor. The veteran can be living or deceased—submissions with photos are due by Monday, Nov. 6.
The wall will be on display at the new Wood River Museum of History and Culture at 4th and Walnut streets in Ketchum from Nov. 8 through 22.
“We thank our veterans for their service and the sacrifices they made,” said Brigid Miller, Community Engagement Manager at the Wood River Museum of History and Culture. “We hope that the community will join us in honoring and thanking the veterans in the Wood River Valley and in all our lives, by filling out a form and/or visiting the Wall of Honor at the museum.”
Submission forms can be downloaded from The Community Library website at https://comlib.org/2023/veterans-wall-of-honor/. Hard copies are also available for pick-up at the Museum, Gold Mine stores and the main circulation desk at The Community Library.
Thinking of more than one veteran? No problem. Fill out two or more forms.
Submit digital forms to Brigid at bmiller@comlib.org. Drop off paper forms at the Museum, Gold Mine stores of the main circulation desk at the library.
