Remote workers in the Wood River Valley are invited to take place in a new weekly gathering called Workspace Fridays.
The Ketchum Remote Collective—a community of remote workers—is holding the weekly gathering in the Idaho Room of Ketchum’s Community Library to foster connections, collaboration and community.
The gatherings will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Fridays through Dec. 15, with the exception of Thanksgiving Week.
There are no membership fees or participation costs and remote workers can show up as their schedule permits. There will be snacks.
“We’re creating a space where remote workers can forge real connections is at the heart of the Ketchum Remote Collective,” said Natalie Gilbert, who founded Ketchum Remote Collective. “We are not just a workspace; we are a movement dedicated to integrating the Wood River Valley’s remote workers into the fabric of our physical community.”
Adds Martha Williams, director of Programs and Education at The Community Library:
“The Community Library has long been a haven for remote workers, particularly since 2020 when we saw a surge in young professionals utilizing our spaces. We're thrilled to partner with Natalie and the Ketchum Remote Collective to welcome even more remote workers and provide a communal space where they can connect with each other and the community."
