Sun Valley Film Festival has instituted programs encouraging young filmmakers since its beginning. One of those components is the Sun Valley JR Film Competition, which screens the best shorts by young filmmakers whose work have been judged by industry professionals.
“I was accepted and committed to my dream program of film and TV production at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts. And I think the SVFC definitely made my portfolio strong and even impressed the admissions peoples,” said the 2020 Winner Jiayang Liu.
