Dive into the deep depths of the jungle in search of the massive Peacock Bass and watch a Steelhead story with characters as rare as the fish itself when the Fly Fishing Film Tour returns to the Sun Valley Opera House.
The 18th annual Fly Fishing Film Tour will offer a selection of short films primed to stoke enthusiasm for the fishing season ahead. It will take place at 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28 at the Sun Valley Opera House.
It’s the original and largest fly fishing film event of it kind and attendees will have the opportunity to win prize. They’ll also get the opportunity to see such films as one on the science of the Costa Marlin Fly Project, a conservation project in Southwestern Baja, Mexico, which involved tagging striped marlin on the fly to better understand and protect them.
The film is presented by Costa and Skwala. Tickets are $16 and $22, available at https://flyfilmtour.myeventscenter.com/event/Sun-Valley-Id-Opera-House-83077.
