State of Valley Forum Focuses on Education
The Space, headquartered in the former Marketron Building in Hailey, offers afterschool academic support to students.

Learn about the challenges of educating children in the Wood River Valley when the Wood River Women’s Foundation presents its 5th Annual Community State of the Valley Forum.

The forum will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, at Wood River High School. It will look at what’s being provided and what’s needed in the way of programming, tutoring, early education and alternative programs.

Former Idaho legislator Wendy Jaquet will moderate a panel that features:

Jim Foudy, Blaine County Schools superintendent

Laura Rose Lewis, executive director of Far + Wise

Aaron Bronson, executive director of The Space

Kathryn Ivers, project director of wood River Early Learning collaborative
