Wildlife Migration and Status in the Wood River Valley will be the subject of the Wood River Land Trust’s final 2024 Think Globally, Act Locally Speaker Series.

The free talk will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 14, at Ketchum’s Community Library.

Sierra Robatcek, a wildlife biologist and conservationist will discuss regional wildlife migration patterns and implications of living in the wildland-urban interface. She will also talk about how the populations of wildlife that move through the Wood River Valley are connected to other areas of Idaho.

Keri York, WRLT’s program director, will follow up Robatcek’s talk with a talk about local protected areas, efforts to enhance movement corridors and steps to protect local wildlife.
