Two new stories are going up on the Wood River Trail that runs from Bellevue to Ketchum.
The Blaine County Recreation District, Hailey Public Library and The Community Library are installing the stories along the bike path as part of Bike to School and Work Day on Wednesday, May 8. The stories, presented in English and Spanish, will remain up through Sunday, May 19 so you need to speed read!
Pages from the children’s books, “Duck on a Bike” by David Shannon and “Everyone Can Learn to Ride a Bicycle,” by Chris Raschka, will be posted alongside the path to be viewed while walking or biking along the Wood River Trail.
Pages from “Duck on a Bike” with its beautiful illustrations will be available along the Wood River Trail between Fox Acres Road and Myrtle Street in Hailey. The book “Everybody Can Learn to Ride a Bicycle” will be posted between 6th Street and Wood River Drive in Ketchum.
