This comedy/action-packed film, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, will be screened on Thursday, May 23, by the Sun Valley Film Festival.
The film, which is based on the real-life experience of scriptwriter Josh Margolin’s own grandmother, will be shown at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 23, at the Sun Valley Opera House. Tickets are $20, available at https://svffmonthlymovies.eventive.org/schedule/663a821b4169b100c5aa17e7
It stars June Squibb, a 94-year-old Oscar-nominated actress who got a late start to her TV and film career but has been a guest star on such shows as “Law & Order,” “The Young and the Restless,” “Glee,” “The Big Bang Theory and Grey’s Anatomy.”
She has starred in several movies, such as “In & Out,” and “Nebraska,” for which she earned a Best Supporting Actress nomination. And she did her own stunts for this film as she put a clever spin on such movies as “Mission: Impossible.”
Others in the movie include the late Richard Roundtree, who appeared in “Shaft,” and Malcolm McDowell, who was in “A Clockwork Orange” and now appears in the new TV comedy series “Son of Critch.”
This sneak preview comes ahead of the movie’s limited release in movie theaters in late June.
