Members of the Wood River Orchestra will present another evening of chamber music in partnership with the Wood River Jewish Community.
The free concert featuring principal flautist Mila Lyon and string section principals will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, at the WRJC’s Lewis Family Center in Elkhorn. The center is located at 95 Badeyana Drive near the Elkhorn Clubhouse and Harker Center swimming pool.
The concert will feature three flute quintets by 18th century Italian composer Luigi Boccherini. It also will feature Antonin Dvorak’s “American” string quartet and a contemporary work called “Testimony” written by American composer Charlton Singleton as part of the Kronos Quartet’s “50 for the Future” initiative.
