Amazon has chosen the story of two Ketchum entrepreneurs to represent on its new “Spotlight on Sellers.”
Randimals, a line of imaginative soft stuffed animals with a positive message for kids, was developed by Nick Harman and Casey Finegan. And, three years after launching Randimals, the two are taking the toys global with Amazon as their partner.
The line blends characteristics of two animal, bird or fish species into a new hybrid. It, for instances, mixes a zebra with a kangaroo to form a Zangaroo. And an eagle and a leopard become a flying feline called an Eagard, notes the piece.
The toys’ tale is told in the award-winning children’s book “The Randimals,” which recounts the story of broken animals being pieced back together in a way that makes them different but loveable.
“The idea is to demonstrate that our differences are our superpower,” Harman says over and over.
The mantra of Randimals is that “What makes us different makes all the difference in the world,” says Harman.
With the new partnership, Randimals will be launching in the United Kingdom and Europe over the next several months. Amazon helps facilitate the legal process and the tax collection requirements that can be challenging to small entrepreneurs, said Harman.
